Bio

I began my musical career as a classical pianist competing across Tennessee at various levels.  Beginning in the late 90’s, I formed a few rock ensembles in Knoxville.  In 2001, I was hired as a keyboardist for a local bar’s house band, 360 Jam.  I left for Boston in 2003 where I attended Berklee College of Music.  While there I MD’d a 10 piece hip-hop/jazz ensemble called Best When Chilled while running a booking company and a photography/design outfit.

After graduation in August of 2004, the band broke up, and I returned to Knoxville in January of the next year.  Since that time I have been working on my MBA and playing solo gigs around Knoxville.  In September of 2006, I was hired by The Captain Midnight Band, a group who recently relocated to Nashville after evacuating New Orleans during the Katrina crisis.  In addition to this, my solo project entitled White|Black is being released later this year.
